This wonderful day starts by picking you up from your hotel and heading toward the most famous land marks dominates the skyline of Muscat, the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Surly you will be fascinated with this iconic architectural wonder.
Post that you’ll stop at the one of the most beautiful and technically advanced opera houses in the world. The building adheres to traditional Omani architectural sensibilities and is constructed using traditional Omani desert rose stones and has a capacity to accommodate maximum of 1,100 people.
We will then visit the fish market and the folkloric Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in Oman, dating back about two hundred years. It retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market albeit housed under modern timber roofing. One can enjoy aromatic smells of frankincense, incense and Arabian perfumes and seeing handicrafts like silverware, daggers, traditional cloth, new apparel and shoes. It is a good chance for buying souvenirs for Family and Friends.
Next, engage in a museum tour to Bait Al Zubair, which is a cultural foundation that was originally a private museum opened its doors to the public in 1998 exhibiting Omani history and culture. The museum features weapons and tools of the ancient Omani, as well as attire, a huge collection of Khanjars (Omani daggers) traditional weapons and household artifacts.

Al Alam Palace, one of six sultanic residences of the monarch has a history of over 200 years flanked by the twin Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali, which was built in the 16th century during the Portuguese occupation on Arab foundations Guarding the entrance to the harbor.
